Fiber Options is located in what was originally the Wainwright store, an early 1900s storefront in the center of Rensselaer Falls. Over the years, the building housed businesses as varied as a general store, an ice cream parlor, a grocery store, and an undertaker’s business. little bit on North Country history. The photo above is the building as it was when we purchased it-leaky roof, shaky floors, broken and boarded-up windows, no running water, no heat, no electricity.

 

A few years later we are proud to welcome visitors from all over the North Country and Canada to our totally renovated building that still retains the flavor of a rural Adirondack country store. We are dedicated to offering quilters and knitters the highest quality products worthy of their talent and the time that they are investing in their projects. All our quilting fabric is 100% cotton and our yarns emphasize natural fibers including wool, cotton, silk, and bamboo.

 

At Fiber Options, we are dedicated to enriching your quilting or knitting experience from start to finish, whether you are a novice or an expert. In addition to our broad selection of materials, we offer kits and classes for all skill levels given by highly qualified instructors from around the area. Our staff is always here to offer a little extra help or a few tips if you need it. And we are always a gathering place for you to share and enjoy projects with old and new friends. We are open seven days a week, accept US and Canadian currency, checks and all major charge cards. Phone orders are gladly accepted and promptly filled, whether for a kit or just that extra yard of material or skein of yarn you need to finish a project.
