Instructor Becky MacKellar brings a musician's sensibility to the textile arts. Learn to play with fabrics the way a jazz master plays with notes and create a one of a kind piece that is uniquely you.
Rebecca Muir MacKellar was born and raised in New Jersey. She learned to quilt from her mother and maternal grandmother. Rebecca graduated from the Ithaca College School of music and obtained a degree in Music Education. She currently is the organist and choir director at Trinity Episcopal Church, Potsdam, NY. Rebecca moved to Canton, NY in 1981 and resides there with her husband, Ian, and two college age sons, Shane and Gavin. A dog named Zip keeps them all company. |
